LoonCart (“the app”) is a Shopify app operated by the LoonCart team. Contact: support@looncart.com.

What the app does

LoonCart lets a merchant configure a single product offer that appears in their store's cart, and creates Shopify discounts (an automatic discount, or a discount code as a fallback) that apply the offer at checkout.

Data the app stores

• Store data: your shop's identifier and the access token Shopify issues when you install the app, kept in the app's database so the app can work with your store.
• Offer configuration: the offer settings you create (offer product, trigger, discount, heading, on/off state). These are stored in your shop's metafields in Shopify and mirrored in the app's database.

Customer data

The app does not collect, receive, or store your customers' personal information. It does not receive customer names, email addresses, payment details, or order histories. The offer block in the cart reads only the offer configuration from your shop's metafields.

Data requests and deletion

If Shopify sends the app a customer data request or redaction request, the app confirms that it holds no customer data to provide or erase. When a shop uninstalls the app, Shopify sends a shop redaction request after the retention period, and the app deletes that shop's stored data (sessions and offer configuration).

Sharing

The app does not sell or share store data with third parties, and uses no advertising or analytics trackers.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
