Getting started

1. Open LoonCart in your Shopify admin and create an offer: the product shoppers get, what triggers it, and the discount.
2. In the theme editor, add the LoonCart block to your cart template and save.
3. Add the trigger to a test cart. The offer appears in the cart, and checking out applies the discount.

How discounts behave

• LoonCart first tries an automatic discount, so the price adjusts on its own at checkout.
• If an automatic discount cannot be created (for example, a conflict with an existing discount), LoonCart creates a discount code instead and shows it to the shopper in the cart.

Triggers

• Cart total: the offer shows when the cart reaches the amount you set.
• Specific product: the offer shows when the trigger product is in the cart. The offer applies to one unit of the offer product per order.

Removing LoonCart

Turn the offer off, or remove the block in the theme editor, at any time. Uninstalling the app stops offers from showing. If you need help cleaning up a discount LoonCart created, email support.

FAQ

• Does LoonCart slow down my store? The cart block is small and reads only your offer settings.
• Can I run more than one offer? LoonCart runs one active offer at a time, by design: one good offer, clearly presented.
• What does it cost? LoonCart is free during its early launch.
